Model 1883, estimated production year 1903. Grade 820.
Is there a reason why it didn't get a perfect grade? It looks excellent to me
Amazing to see it in such great condition
Reminds me of the one that my grandfather had.
This watch is still operational. As for grade levels, it is my understanding that it differs between manufacturers and models. It seems it is an arbitrary system to define quality but it is not standardized so I have no idea what number means what. I agree that one doesn't see a pocket watch in public often, if ever.
Classic. Don't see pocket watches anymore!
Does it still work?
I can definitely see why you wouldn't want to sell it!
Such a great piece.
What's the highest grade you can get?
I'm surprised you can still find them for only $100!
