A few years ago, a friend of mine found out that I liked Boba Fett. We went to Universal Studios one day and he and I started talking about different things that we had. I, of course, told him about Boxes and he said that he had something that would make a nice addition, this autographed Boba Fett Helmet. He just about made me pass out when he said that I could have it as he didn’t really know what to do with it anymore. He gave it to me the following Sunday and I had to get the story behind how he got it.
The year was 1998 and Disney was having it’s first annual Star Wars Weekends at what was then, Disney’s MGM Studios. His aunt was in town for a little while and took him to the event. While going through the park, they happened to see that somebody from the Star Wars movies was there doing autographs. His aunt found out it was the man who played Boba Fett and asked my friend if he would like to meet him and get something signed. He said that he would love to, but he didn’t have anything for him to sign. So they went into one of the shops and found this helmet. She paid for it and they got in line to get it signed. According to my friend, he said that they were the only ones who had the helmet while they were waiting in line. He wasn’t able to recall many details when meeting Jeremy Bulloch, after all, he was only around 6 or 7 when this whole thing happened.
I do apologize for it’s appearance. After a while of having it out on display in his room, my friend threw it in his closet where it got warped the way it is now.
