My Comic Photography Explained

I wanted to take a minute and explain WHY my comic photos look different than others.
I think we are all pretty familiar with the current size of comics. Mine look a little different. They "look" shorter and fatter when in reality they are not.
When I photograph a comic (and really, most of my items) - they are shot at an angle to avoid the shadow of my camera (my iPhone 😊). Then I manipulate the image until it's flat.
This does several things.
It foreshortens the image.
It can also slightly curve the sides. Typically the top.

I highly value a comic free from my own shadow lurking over it!
Remember, all my comics are the size of every other comic... but made "extra special" by me!
Thanks for your time!
Brian
